Thanks for visiting DaddyGamer365.
I’ve decided to blog about my hobbies and diversions to keep my sanity as a busy dad. I’ve been sucked into the world of RC or radio controlled flying and found it exhilarating to learn how to fly planes and quadcopters. I’m really intrigued by the technology and community in this hobby. I post videos on YouTube on my channel, BlueFlyerTV. Check it out, subscribe and give me some comments.
About me, Miguel, DaddyGamer365’s creator:
I love gaming on every platform. PC, consoles, portables, arcade, iPad… you name it, I’ve played it. I’m also a busy dad doing everything busy dads do on a daily basis. But that doesn’t mean that I end my love affair with gaming. Right? I just have to find the right games and platforms that will fit my valuable time. My goal is to share my discoveries and experiences with other busy gamers with this blog.
As with many dads, I have the Peter Pan syndrome when it comes to R/C, videogames, gadgets, electronics, technology and pretty much anything and everything. As I get older, my hobbies seems to grow as well. Video gaming has been in my blood since the 70’s so I have all the game consoles and portables. I was a video arcade addict as well. My favorite is the cocktail table version of Pacman. I can’t find one that I can afford though.
In the mid-90’s to the early 2000’s, I successfully created and produced Gamespot TV for the now-defunct ZDTV/Tech TV Network. That show blossomed into an entire network called G4, running in Los Angeles, CA. Prior to Gamespot TV, I pioneered the TV coverage the videogame industry and the review of PC and console games in my Gamebreak segment on New Media News for the NBC-affiliate in San Francisco.
In 2012, I started blogging for one of the major airlines in the U.S. I noticed more than 90% of the passengers are now traveling with tech devices in the carry-ons and pockets. I started writing a Tech Travel blog to help travelers take advantage of the awesome technology right at their finger tips. So far, people are loving it.
I’ve also been awarded as one of the top 5% writer/reviewer on Tripadvisor.com. I didn’t expect that!
I’m still a gamer but now with added priorities and a bigger perspective.
Here are some of the Gamespot shows and features I’ve produced:
